Meet Sundance Miller

After suffering loss of a child, PTSD, addiction, chronic illness, divorce, and deployment, Sundance found yoga in 2011 as a way to finally breath while relieving anxiety, pain, and fear while journeying through her lung cancer. She completed her 200hour with Lincoln Yoga Center In 2012. Continuing on her own personal inner emotional & mental workout, she finished a 300hour at the Samadhi Center in 2014, 200hour at the Kundalini Institute, and 300hour at Lincoln Yoga Center in 2019.

Finally finding some relief and balance in her own life, she began to slowly teach to other veterans and military members wanting to share the healing that happened to her. In 2017, after branching out to teach to all levels, civilian or military, she wanted to educate herself to help her students. Over the next few years, she would also be trained in Veteran’s Yoga Project, Warriors At Ease, Yoga Nidra, Kundalini, Heart Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, Kid’s Yoga, Equestrian Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Yoga for Chronic Pain, Yoga for Cancer, PTSD/Trauma Yoga, and Philosophy with Comparative Religion.

Sundance currently teaches to all levels with a very supportive embrace. She will not tell you who you should be or what you should do but instead, hold space for you so you can find out who you truly are and help you with questions along the way. She will cue variations to poses with the knowledge that not everyone is can or is supposed to move the same way. In a busy world, we often do and say things because we react like we think other people would or compete with them instead of being true to ourselves. In order to know who we truly are, we have to take the time to go inside and listen to our own self. We have to feel emotions to heal them. We have to embrace it all…. one step at a time, one breath at a time, one pose at a time. Sundance will provide you that safety, security, and space to be who you truly are, walk with you when you need the support, help you when you are ready to reach out and have questions, and empower you to be the best you knowing we are not one size fits all and a blanket approach and pose doesn’t fit everyone.
